Built on the same stable, long-life RGB-LED illumination platform as the Christie Matrix StIM™ WQ, the Christie Matrix SIM WQ offers a virtually maintenance-free option for commercial aviation as well as military training applications where NVG stimulation is not required.

The Christie Matrix SIM WQ takes solid state projection for the civil aviation sector to the next level. With higher brightness, WQXGA resolution, real-time balancing of colour and brightness levels, and advanced, user-adjustable smear reduction technology, the Christie Matrix SIM WQ LED illuminated projector exceeds FAA standards, providing the most true-to-life image quality in the simulation industry.

Designed with Christie expertise, this simulation projection system has a fully ruggedised chassis for motion platform use. With no consumables the Matrix SIM WQ is a virtually maintenance-free system which boasts extremely low sustainment costs for a low total cost of ownership.

It's designed with the same solid state illumination platform as the original Christie Matrix SIM which has been successfully integrated and proven on commercial simulators with FAA qualification approval for complete unrestricted training.

Christie Matrix SIM WQ is a fully integrated projection system designed to exceed Level D compliance for projectors in Full Flight Simulators. Simulation-specific features include:

  • Christie AccuFrame™  – smear reduction technology to accurately display high speed simulation content. On the Christie Matrix SIM WQ, AccuFrame is fully adjustable in 1% increments allowing system designers to maximise dynamic image quality over a range of frame rates and training scenarios for the most realistic displays.
